That was quick.

"While the U.S. has expressed conditional support for Israel’s actions, Saudi Arabia has sharply criticized the move. In a statement issued by its foreign ministry, the kingdom accused Israel of exploiting the crisis in Syria to “ruin Syria’s chance of restoring its security.” The statement labeled the takeover as a destabilizing act that undermines regional efforts to rebuild Syria after years of conflict."

You missed the part where Saudi Arabia proceeded to bomb Israel for this aggression.

Of course they need to say something. They're positioning themselves to play a major part in the new Syria, as well as post-war Lebanon and Gaza. They are positioning themselves to be the new Iran. Not in terms of terror, but in influence and power throughout the ME. Part of gaining the foothold includes anti-Israel rhetoric. We've seen a big increase in that recently, and I'd expect plenty more over the next 6-12 months. As long as they don't finance our enemies, let them do what they need to do.

The hypocrisy is mindboggling,

Turkey who full on invaded & is occupying big parts of Syria & massacring Kurds
funded & trained HTS (al-Qaeda clone) who toppled Assad,
& then has the chutzpa to criticize Israel for securing the buffer zone from these crazies

It's not hypocrisy. "Israeli aggression" is the ME's version of "Heil H****r!" It must be said at the beginning and end of each conversation, before entering or exiting a room, upon awakening in the morning and going to bed at night. Not saying it is to out yourself as one who does not belong. It has literally nothing to do with what anyone else said, did, or thought.
