Since Vanilla Reloads are no longer able to be purchased with a CC at CVS or any other location, this thread is for historical purposes only.

If I would write where VR is available, by tomorrow it will never be available again. So instead, we will nominate this thread as the place where everyone can complain that there's no VR, and everyone will be happy.

And it was good.


Regarding OneVanilla (OV) and other Vanilla branded GCs:

1. These are not Vanilla Reloads. You are in the wrong thread to learn about them.

2. As long as you are here, they no longer work at WM to load to BB at the cashier or ATM, nor will they work there for MOs. Your best bets are to use Evolve (there is a thread for that), Amazon Payments (there is a thread for that, too), or use them for regular spending in stores or online. At some grocery stores customer service desks, you can use OV to buy a MO.

My big issue in this area is that it seems that i can find the VR cards but nobody takes CC for them.

+1 also IME rite aid takes, but doesn't sell VR. They do sell some other worthwhile MS things though.

Was now at CVS (bkln), still some VR on the shelf, took 6, was told only $1000 daily. I said CVS changed their policy to $5000, so the manager was called and she came and asked for my ID and CC, went between one aisle to make herself look very official, came back and processed my order.
And saw this on the counter

It's too bad that scum bags who are buying VRs and coming back and demanding refunds saying they lost them/got them stolen is ruining it for everyone else.

Nothing new here, the wording in that policy does not exclude VR from being purchased using a CC, only excludes "debit cards".
