Since Vanilla Reloads are no longer able to be purchased with a CC at CVS or any other location, this thread is for historical purposes only.

If I would write where VR is available, by tomorrow it will never be available again. So instead, we will nominate this thread as the place where everyone can complain that there's no VR, and everyone will be happy.

And it was good.


Regarding OneVanilla (OV) and other Vanilla branded GCs:

1. These are not Vanilla Reloads. You are in the wrong thread to learn about them.

2. As long as you are here, they no longer work at WM to load to BB at the cashier or ATM, nor will they work there for MOs. Your best bets are to use Evolve (there is a thread for that), Amazon Payments (there is a thread for that, too), or use them for regular spending in stores or online. At some grocery stores customer service desks, you can use OV to buy a MO.

Yes it is.  A lot of the buyers are scammers.  They send you a message saying they don't need the physical card and to just email them the card number.  If someone falls for that and does not mail anything with proof of mailing, Paypal will do a chargeback.  Also, if you do actually go through with it and mail it, the buyer will claim fraud (I didn't order it - wasn't me) and Paypal will do a chargeback which you will then have to dispute by submitting proof of mailing.  You'd get paid ultimately.  There is a way to come out ahead and screw the scammer but I'm not getting into that here.

Overall doesn't seem to be worth the effort or the hassle or the aggravation that this would entail.
