Since Vanilla Reloads are no longer able to be purchased with a CC at CVS or any other location, this thread is for historical purposes only.

If I would write where VR is available, by tomorrow it will never be available again. So instead, we will nominate this thread as the place where everyone can complain that there's no VR, and everyone will be happy.

And it was good.


Regarding OneVanilla (OV) and other Vanilla branded GCs:

1. These are not Vanilla Reloads. You are in the wrong thread to learn about them.

2. As long as you are here, they no longer work at WM to load to BB at the cashier or ATM, nor will they work there for MOs. Your best bets are to use Evolve (there is a thread for that), Amazon Payments (there is a thread for that, too), or use them for regular spending in stores or online. At some grocery stores customer service desks, you can use OV to buy a MO.

Can somebody list other stores(aside from cvs) that you've had success using a cc to buy vr? You don't have to list specific locations just the name if the stores? TIA

since everyone ruins a good thing here..(5k of VR...3k VR)i can buy pay pal cash cash load cards(send $ to your acct) . I load 500. plus the 3.95 fee and pay with CC. These 7/11s near me are coded as gas. Having fun with Chase freedoms and Discovers. Then I load it to my Paypal acct and send to my verified checking acct, but not too much at a time. i don't want to ruin a good thing. And I won't say which 7/11 because you folks will ruin it. They no longer accept CC for VR thanks to some of you. And they have tons of the VR. I am happy buying 4 per week thru 9/30.

I thought you could not get VR at Walgreen with CC. Unless they are locking it up so people don't pocket them to use in a different store.

Very weird. 

They don't allow cc for tthem anyways,  and I don't think it's possible to load them at CVS since they have a magnetic strip in back instead of a bar code.

Which WG Is that at?
