Since Vanilla Reloads are no longer able to be purchased with a CC at CVS or any other location, this thread is for historical purposes only.

If I would write where VR is available, by tomorrow it will never be available again. So instead, we will nominate this thread as the place where everyone can complain that there's no VR, and everyone will be happy.

And it was good.


Regarding OneVanilla (OV) and other Vanilla branded GCs:

1. These are not Vanilla Reloads. You are in the wrong thread to learn about them.

2. As long as you are here, they no longer work at WM to load to BB at the cashier or ATM, nor will they work there for MOs. Your best bets are to use Evolve (there is a thread for that), Amazon Payments (there is a thread for that, too), or use them for regular spending in stores or online. At some grocery stores customer service desks, you can use OV to buy a MO.

VR doesnt need WM

I know the following mehalech is a pita, but for those who can't shlep to WM, follow these steps:
get a BB card
get a paypal biz mastercard (soft pull)
buy paypal reloads (available all over the place, most duane reads, rite aid etc all take cc's) - same price as VR
log into BB, add funds from debit card - load once a day 100.
yup, its only 100 a day, but it takes only 15 seconds a day... bookmark it to make it a few seconds faster..

I dont think it's a risk (as in GC's), cuz paypal debit card is a regular debit card

it's also less risky in regards to a/a / f/r cuz you can alternate diff stores and it wont be 100 CVS transactions...

Although VR's are much more available now than a few months ago, it's still MUCH harder to find than paypal reloads, also, too much CVS might be a trigger...
