Since Vanilla Reloads are no longer able to be purchased with a CC at CVS or any other location, this thread is for historical purposes only.

If I would write where VR is available, by tomorrow it will never be available again. So instead, we will nominate this thread as the place where everyone can complain that there's no VR, and everyone will be happy.

And it was good.


Regarding OneVanilla (OV) and other Vanilla branded GCs:

1. These are not Vanilla Reloads. You are in the wrong thread to learn about them.

2. As long as you are here, they no longer work at WM to load to BB at the cashier or ATM, nor will they work there for MOs. Your best bets are to use Evolve (there is a thread for that), Amazon Payments (there is a thread for that, too), or use them for regular spending in stores or online. At some grocery stores customer service desks, you can use OV to buy a MO.

that's what I meant. Thanks for clarifying. As a way of generating miles it might be too costly to be a true alternative to VRs.

hear ya. If you move enough cash you can lessen the 5 dollar fee. Could pay for many, especially if no vr around.

Just found a couple of VR's in a Duane Reade. The cashier was not able to let me buy it with a CC.
Anyone have success there?

DR is part of Walgreens and you (almost) can't buy them there with a CC.

Registers are hard wired not to accept cc. Cvs it's pretty much the only main stream site that still allows cc.

Did any1 experience a problem in the monsey cvs? They seem to have in Stock surprisingly but system is down and it only let me do 1 .

I asked in a CVS near lakewood that recently had VRs if they have in stock or will be getting in soon and they said no. They said that people were taking them from the stores. their computers listed VRs in stock  but there weren't any left.

just went to my cvs for the third week we didn't get them this week we should get them next week but I think cvs t&c is changing for cash only for v-reload  :( :-\
