OK. All I have is a confirmation that I am a Platinum member. It says 0 points and they'll send the card after my first stay. If I use that email to send to other places to "match" it, they'll see the 0 points and no usage. Is that a problem?

Depends on hotel. Read the whole thread to see which hotels match Accor.  If you want to match to Priority Club it may be smart to wait till 2013 to request because status remains through the end of the following year.  So if you got matched today your only matched to end of 2013.

That was only Priority Club...other hotels could be different.  Need to read the T&C's.

Hyatt won't match unless you have actually had a stay at the Hotel to which you are trying to match.

Wrong! HYATT gave me a DIA challenge match to Hilton Gold that I had points on from CCs but

YMMV. I've had both.

Just have to get the correct CSR which you will realize he/she is after asking to them for a while. Ask for his personal Email address and send screenshot directly to him/ her .

Should be instant so do not request till ready to use cause clck runs out .

So you email them asking for a status match multiple times and wait till you get a reply from someone who will do it without any stays?
I'm only going to status match to Hyatt before I apply for another Hyatt card so I can get the two free nights in a suite.

They sent me back another email after i sent then the screen shot of my Accor platt card but they said i need a statement and i have no idea where to find that on the Accor site

Interesting.  After I sent my email with the screenshot attached, a day later I got a reply that I am Platinum.  Maybe try again after next week Monday and send them what I sent together with a screenshot.  I'm also going to do it next week again with another Accor Plat account to get platinum with Priority Club till the end of 2014.

I called the Hyatt Diamond line 1 800 400 2261 IIRC. In any event I called not emailed,  and spoke directly with someone who gave me a generic email address . On my follow up call they said they did not receive my Email so I asked for the person I was speaking with fors personal Email to ensure they got it .
