Transferring Amex MR to *A
« on: December 19, 2012, 10:31:35 PM »
I am looking to xfer Amex MR to a *A program. The obvious one would be Aeroplan, but has anyone looked into SQ Krisflyer? If so, is it something to consider or Is there another program that I missed that would offer good redemption.

No YQ if booking on domestic US flights. I don't remember on int'l.

if no YQ for domestic flights then it would make more sense to go Kris over Aeroplan and SQ looks like it has a better redemption chart. True observation?

Again:

Without being cute: it depends.

Depends on your goals, you're willingness to pay YQ, you insistance on hard and soft-product, etc.

Then you should probably avoid SQ unless you'll only be flying domestically.

SQ is going to be more complicated.  Harder to book and you're limited to redemptions for people in your redemption list.
AC can be easily redeemed online and can also be transferred to US with a 27% haircut should you so desire.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.
