I'm gonna make an assumption that may be way off, but if you're asking about whether it's 'on the way' at all between Orlando and Miami, the answer is sort of. If you you went to KSC from Orlando and then on to Miami (or vice versa), you'd only be adding 45m-1h total to your trip, instead of an hour each way to go there to/from Orlando.
