So the shliach to TBI has done this hike a few times and says the hike in is nicer than the hike out.His suggestion is:Monday: Have camping gear and food boated in, hike to Kalalau, BBQTuesday: Explore Kalalau ValleyWednesday: Explore a bit and get boated out.
If you get rid of the hiking and camping part and add a couple more BBQ's, I might be in
AJK, Whyme, SF, and myself are booked, though we're all very tentative, so don't make hard plans...
Which dates? I have a hold on 5/22 y and 5/25 I
Lol, so that's where the I inventory went for 5/25. Had to book it for SF out of my IN and that's part of why it's tentative...
mystery solved. what's the issue if you book him from IN? you're worried about being audited?
More expensive (10k)
Will this really not happen because of me?
It's possible.
I am nervous about this, no doubt. Hardly a specimen of being in shape But being able to have gear boated in and out and only hiking one way makes it doable for me. I hope.Would love to hear how it compares to Waimea's grand loop hike that I did. Was really rough, but glad I did it before they closed it for good.
Not much of a comparison without the loop. The most impressive and scary parts were on the connector hike.
