I just finished Chaim Shapiro's incredible book Go, My Son. Would anyone like to recreate his journey by following his footsteps?

That would be an amazing trip.

That depends. Are we talking about the original, or the new, slightly revised one ;D :P?

It looks like you are joking but just to be sure, is there really a difference?

I'll add myself to the Wiki, although its extremely tentative this far in advance.
I would also need Hadrachah in which points to try accumulate and how to go about the booking; I'm totally clueless!

P.S. I don't think this "wife" thing will pose a problem for me.  :P

Now I'm not sure which version I have! It mentions the Tatar girl but there isn't anything that seems to need editing! (?)

Is this capped at a certain number?

Not specifically, but from my end personally the smaller the group the better. With 5-6 people I could give everyone more help and individual guidance; not so much with 10 people.

Also for the hiking part (which is most of the adventure, after all), I'd think that smaller groups would be more efficient. Imagine 10 people trying to cross one of the major rivers, or on one of the 6-inch wide stretches of trail...

Just my $0.02.

Something I'm not getting here.

Isn't the time on vacation so precious that you want to arrive prepared?

Take some photography lessons during the year, and come prepared.

Alright, I'm being completely ignored ::)

Last try: why would someone travel to an exotic place, and in the short time he spends there, follow a course, instead of following this course before travel.

I don't think it's a stirah.

Experience you can get much closer by, in the city in a forest, sunset and sunrise also happen closer to home, the fact that the landscape is less appealing doesn't change in the benefit of the lessons.

I wouldn't burn precious vacation time on it, just my thought.

Quality of the lesson? probably not.
Quality of the pictures? probably yes.

I wouldn't burn precious vacation time on it, just my thought.
Or it can be looked at as killing two birds with one stone. If one is truly interested in the photography aspect, it wouldn't be considered wasting time.

Cute way to protect the trend, but does not make too much sense, unless holidays are many and close to free.

For one, part of the lessons, if not the abc would be: Which camera to buy.

Its a little late there.
