I have a free night at category 1-4 from Marriott expiring soon. Does anyone have a hotel they would recommend anywhere in the NYC area? Thanks.

Anyone know if the free nights can be sold?  I know they're officially non transferable, I'm asking practically.

Same deal as Hyatt - they must check in as a guest on you're reservation - I wouldn't recommend Ebay but can be sold on the forums

Sorry I'm not familiar with this.  How do you go about this, don't you have to book under your own name?
How does someone else become a "guest" on a reservation, and thereby become able to check in as a "guest"?

Thanks!

New Question. I have decided to use points instead because I want nicer than category 4. I am willing to spend up to 50k any recommendations in the nyc area?
