google programs i have them on my laptop i forgot what there called i think one was recuva if im not mistaken there usually free

Yes recuva is legit - thats the easiest program to start with. DONT WRITE ANYTHING TO THE SD CARD!

Should I run a "deep scan" ? Or tweek the settings in recuva ?
EDIT: started the deep scan....hope I don't regret it

Recovered 11 pictures.
Should be many more.
