If the phone is active on your account, call Sprint and ask them to Unlock it. The do it as long as your account is not over due, and been a customer for 90 days or so.
(Tell them you need it for international use)

You could sell it on eBay internationally, whatever you do, make sure to use tracking and insurance. I would suggest only offer USPS Express

If someone is selling for $500 in America...hes ripping you off. You can get ~$500-550 in Israel.
And NC mentioned $500 internationally...not U.S.

Could be phones in mint condition, w/ the box and all accessories, has a Apple Care warranty. Better listings with better pictures, sellers that offered international shipping.
