i dont know the pros and cons
If you had to pick a place to go for a week which would you pick, orlando or miami?
(I have a 2.5 yr old son so keep that in mind.)

The two cities are very different, Orlando being much more for entertainment, being that it has Disney, universal and sea-world. While Miami is much more relaxing place, amazing beaches, great water sports and tons of kosher places to eat out.

lol.. ya i think so as of now... planning from jan 2- 10 2-7 orlando and 7-10 miami
shabbos is in orlando.
im trying to plan this out last minute finally convinced my husband for a vacation and tickets are really affordable.
just so much to plan in such a short time!!

Sounds great, although 5 days in orlando sounds like a bit much. I would do 3-4.

Sound like you're going to both, which seems like a good idea. I would make one recommendation while you're in Orlando, which is to make the hour or so trip out to the Kennedy Space Center.

Not close to miami, it is to the east of orlando, at the coast.
