They will still fly EWR-TLV and quite possibly serve TLV from another hub (IAD, ORD, LAX, or SFO)

What's the alternative?
can you personally block the merger?

There is no alternative, but i was relying on these miles to get me back and forth, just wanted to know if I am safe.

hut bitachon
and either way, the only thing that would possibly in a million years change is the non-stop...keep in mind US Airways still will go (star alliance member) and both CO and US Air offer a ewr-phl shuttle I believe

TLV is one CO's most profitable destinations.  In fact EWR-TLV one of the very few routes (only IAH-LHR comes to mind) that CO flies a 777 to twice daily. There's no way they'll end it.

Dan,
He's Jewish.  He's going to worry, as unlikely as it is.

actually Larry wanted to have a 3rd flight from IAH, a daily flight wouldnt pay from LAX or SFO since there would be very little feeder traffic, my best guess would be IAH or IAD but IAD isnt far from PHL (US) or EWR and they just might do alot better with IAH

No way will TLV be dropped but if it was theres still US non-stop out of PHL 9which is alot better then CO) plus AC from YYZ, 2 flights a day from FRA and a few a week from MUC both with LH, 2 flights aday on LX fromm ZRH in other words you hav enothing to worry about

I see COUA serving ORD-TLV before IAH-TLV because it would have a much healthier mix of O/D traffic than IAH-TLV would have.

Also lots of other *A connecting flights...BRU-TLV (SN), IST-TLV (TK), BCN-TLV (JK), VIE-TLV (OS), WAW-TLV (LO)

true but with the exception of LO & SN 9both with lousy flight times) good luck finding something.I checked numerous times and never was able to find anything on OS. CO does from time to time show you SN or LO

but at least there are options
