The app tether is prob the best option, there is a 1 week free trial, and works great
There isnt any good free tether options for BB. I have used a few, and find tether worth the cost (if you need it a lot)
For me, BB 9930 has a hotspot feature, and Verizon doesn't charge to use it
i have the hotspot feature, but Verizon told me (and I learned the hard way, after being hit with a $1000 charge) that I don't get free tethering globally, only local. Wile if I were to just use the data on the bb itself, then I have it unlimited. Hence my question, if there's a way to tether without it going thru the verizon tethering so they will include it in my unlimited
