yes it is awesome, they drivers usually add on a few shekel for using it though. I also have had difficulty paying by credit card a few times, but if you are ever in th emiddle of no where and need a taxi it works great.

anyways, i have a 20 shekel credit that i bought from groupon, but alas, get taxi is not compatible with my nexus 7.

anyone interested in it?

Hit the Order Button typed in the house number and it shows you where the closest drivers are located . a driver is assigned to it and he calls you to tell you he's coming . Then he is an icon on the map displaying his exact location and telling you how far he is and and eta.

Charged me the regular meter rate and when you leave the cab it sends you an email reciept and an option to rate the driver

I have some questions before I use gettaxi. I really appreciate your answers.

1. Can I use US CC?
2. Is it possible to set rate with the driver, or is it only meter?
3. Are they are on time?
4. Do drivers try charging extra for using it?
5. Any unexpired promos I can use test it out?
6. Are you worried about using the "pay with CC" feature?
