Which did you choose and how was it?
I brought food.

I had dinner from them one night and the chicken came with the seal broken twice.

Thanks all for your help. This is for 10 days from now, and seconds before booking the trip, I was overruled by DW who suggested that if we're just going to chill all day, we may as go somewhere that also has kosher restaurants so we don't have to deal with cooking, reheating, etc. So I thank you all and I will be taking my foruming talents to the South Beach thread.

LOL! There is something special about the beaches there though. Bringing POM meals and a toaster oven worked well for me. But I hear. Miami is also going to be cheaper probably.

Been to Bermuda once before, thinking about going again for a long weekend.  Anybody ever stay by a Fairmont property?  I would love to hear about their experiences.

TIA

I stayed in the princess property in Hamilton but did extensive research on both. Hamilton is more updated with modern infinity pool modern decor.... The Southampton one is more like resort secluded with beach on premises vs. From Hamilton u need to take subtle to their private lagoon. I ended up staying in Hamilton due to availability

I did the same. The advantage of Hamilton is that it is in town where there are shops and most other activities are within walking distance. The downside is that there is no beach there and you need to take a shuttle to the Southampton property to go to their beach club. The grounds at Southampton though are much bigger with a huge golf course on premises.

I stayed at the Southhampton location and loved it. The hotel is nice but a little old. The shuttles to the beach come pretty often and their beach is right near horseshoe beach. Its also 5min ride or 30 min walk to church bay for snorkeling. The advantages of being on the south shore outweighed being near town for us as we didn't do much shopping or dining out.

Southampton needs a shuttle to the beach? I thought Hamilton was the one that needed a shuttle.

When we passed southhampton hotel on the way to the beach from Hamilton, it seemed like the Southampton was a nice walk to the beach club. The property is huge and you would have to pass the golf course, cross the main road and then walk all the way down the path (pretty steep) to the beach.
