Blackout Dates With Hyatt GP.

HGP always pitches that they have no blackout dates. However, when I tried using a Free Night in NY for NYE, I was told that in extreme peak times (e.g. NY NYE, Olympics, SuperBowl) there are blackout dates.

Spoke to at least 20 agents, including supervisors and they all say the same thing...

Anyone ever heard of this?

Yes, and PHP is blocked for the whole summer

So what does no blackout mean?

There are some hotels that just code very few rooms as standard but here it doesnt seem to be the case.

No blackouts. Try PMing Zidell

IME it's usually minimum stay requirements, try booking it for a few days and cancel the rest of the days

BTW. Whats the NYE plane?  ;)

I tried booking rooms at the park Hyatt Washington for the inauguration but was told there's no availability at anybody the DC hotels. Closest one was Arlington and that was only available as a paid stay because I'm a diamond member.
