Just go the $150 annual fee and messaged Amex about waiving it another year. This was the response I got.
I am afraid we will not be able to waive off the $150.00 annual fee as this fee supports a variety of benefits and services.
However, you may avoid this fee by transferring your current Card to the following fee-free Cards:
1. Blue Cash Everyday Card
2. Blue from American Express
3. Blue Sky Card
If you wish to transfer your Card to any of the above fee-free Cards, please write back to us and we will proceed accordingly.
ANY SUGGESTIONS WHAT IS BEST TO DO?
Case 2 - I have 2 United Card's with Chase and got hit with the $85 annual fee. Asked to refund = Denied, Merge accounts =Denied. Only option offered was to close account. Plus they said I shouldn't be allowed to have 2 of the same accounts....
ANY SUGGESTIONS WHAT IS BEST TO DO?
THANKS!
