MJ made the players around him better. when did the Bulls finally put Detroit in their rear view mirror? when the players around MJ got better. MJ could score 50 every game against Detroit but when the rest of team combines for another 35-40 you don't win many games.
Lebron has a lot left to go in his career. let it play out and maybe then he will earn the right to be talked about in the same sentence as MJ.
as far as who is better that is a joke question at this point. is there anyone in their right mind that would say Lebron is the greatest basketball player of all time?
MJ made Rodman a one of the best rebounders and a better defender?? Come on, you can't deny that MJ had a better supporting cast, yes, he may have made them better but they were better to begin with than anything Lebron had in Cleveland
Anyways, this is why arguing who is better is futile, any argument someone tries to bring can always be refuted with an unsubstantiated argument. Iow, people believe what they want to believe and then build the argument to support their belief. FTR I happen to believe that MJ is better than Lebreon, but I realize that it may have more to do with the nostalgia of growing up with him being the best ever than him actually being better.
