It's not the fact that he left.  It's the way he left.
He made it a 2 month long painful drawn-out process.
Once he announced that he was doing a national TV special people hre figured that he wouldn't have the heart to get on TV and then stab us in the back.  It's just tactless and classless.

People are upset at the pompous way he handled the situation. He may not OWE cleveland anything, but the way he handled it was really not classy

I agree that he was tactless & classless, but your owners letter was no less so. Who fueled LBJ's ego over the last 7 years? Who gave a kid more say in how to run a team than even MJ had back in the day?

But LeBron earned the ability to masage his ego with his primetime show, Veha raaya, everyone who tuned in.

In short, when a kid 18 years old gets as much fawning over as he got, & that only continues for 7 years, we could only expect him to think he's too big for the room & bigger than the game...
