I got this ticket and they wrote my license plate wrong B"H, feel like I'm back in the '90s

This story just took a crazy turn, I was driving in Lakewood yesterday and I saw a black Camry identical to my own with this license plate number!!! What are the chances of that!!? And now this poor guy will have to prove he wasn't in Manhattan that day. He doesn't even know he has a ticket.
(If anyone has a way of tracking his info down i would love to give him a heads up, PM me).

What state is your plate (and what state was the other car's).

Interesting
I renewed my registration and still have the old sticker and paper temp in the windshield. I got an expired meter ticket which had the sticker expiration. Had the ticket dismissed for wrong information. I now ordered a new sticker which extended the temp expiration date 2 more months. #lifehack

I ordered a replacement sticker which extended my temp registration for another 2 months

maybe he was parked behind you when you got the ticket. The traffic cop didn't notice or care that there were two black Camrys parked illegally.

I've seen ads in local circulars (Image and others) that promise a % off of NYC fines. You send in your plate and violation # They will get u discount
Any clue how this works? Any reason at all not to do it for everyone?
They claim that they dont add you to any company fleet profile, nothing shady... they just get a "contracted discount from NYC"

I'm surprised your seeing ads, fwiu the program is suspended indefinitely.

Guy I used said they were able to make a deal with the city due to their prior relationship with building violations.

I'm pretty sure they abbreviate the the name of the Make.

They updated the regulation, requiring it to be bought on the same block. Though they don't always enforce it.
