Is combining multi USAir accounts a problem

Iv heard a rumor of usairwys shutting down ff accounts of major barclay churners when requesting a combination. Anyone hear of this?

originally thought that for safer churning a new ff was necessary this is indeed not true, but still have a couple of accounts. get much more pp for 120/160k than /40/80

You had a problem combining, did you hear of ppl getting wacked? This decision is a difference of a few hundred bucks for me...

I just combined 2 accounts a couple of weeks ago and nothing happened yet.

I actually heard of problems both ways. I take it back, maybe combining is safer. Either way has some risk.
