card to use in israel without fee

hi, i have chase/amex/citi cards and am going to israel in a few weeks. which card should i bring? and is there any other cards besides for masterworld saphire that cover car rental insurance? tia

The SP card is a great card to use in Israel.  IIRC there are no other cards besides for the SPWMC that cover car rental insurance (as opposed to SP visa or regular sapphire card). But if you want to be sure this thread discusses it.

+1. If it's sapphire preferred and its MC, than  doesn't it have to be WMC?!

United Club is also a great card to use, as you earn 1.5 UA miles/$ when SP won't give you double points (travel and dining).
