i am flying next week with a sefer tora
did someone ever flew in the past with a s"t?
whats the rules? is it to big?

Call a Chabad Rabbi in Nigeria or Paris to see if they are brought one from NY or Israel. (they should have experience)

I flew with a pretty small one, it fit into a carry on. If it won't fit in overhead bin, you will likely need to buy it a seat and talk to the airline in advance to try to get a letter of permission to get past security. A letter signed by a Rabbi may help as well.

ye i flies privat and he took 4bochurim with him and they didnt have any issue with a sefer tora ;-)

I'm sure that would help in Nigeria, I don't know about France...If you tried that in the US, they would prob. lock you up in a holding cell for a little while.

yes thats for sure!
but in nigeria thats a common thing to do
they would even arrest you for nothing just to get $1-2!!
