Need help confirming or working around united one way redemption policy

I would like to book a united business one way award from TLV to NYC via Frankfurt. I need to stay in Frankfurt for 2 days. They are telling me I can not stay more then 24 hours on a one way redemption. If i tay over it will be considered as a no show and the Frankfurt - new york will be voided.

Is this true?

Any way to work around this?

Why not book two separate awards? TLV-FRA and then FRA-NYC?

Dan already Said. Book FRA-NYC then Try to add the TLV - FRA leg seperate.

I don't mean he actually said it about tlv - fra - nyc. Rather when he went fra-cdg-(stop)-cle that's how he booked.

Definitely try to book in separate phone calls. You'll very very rarely get an agent to book this as a straight one way, tlv-FRA-NYC.
