Will my card benefits (free carryon and checked bag) kick in if I purchase a ticket via an OTA? Assuming the charge will be billed to my card by United directly.
OTA is close to $200 cheaper than booking with United directly.

Most of the mainstream OTAs you are correct.
Some of the fly by night OTAs, the charge won't go to the airline.

Yes, I'm aware. Question is if my benefits will kick in? Or the fact that it's booked through a 3rd party makes me ineligible for the card benefits?

To answer my own question: I booked through the OTA (my card was billed by United though) and when pulling up my reservation through United it's showing a free carry on and checked bag.

$99 AF on United Business card just hit. Can the card be downgraded to a free card, or need to cancel it? Is it worth keeping for an infrequent traveler?
Thanks.

You can redeem 6,600 UA points for the annual fee (1.5 cents per point)
120 characters? Hmm, I wonder what I could write with 64 characters. Boy, it's gonna be hard to use up 15 characters. W-

Understood, but is there a downgrade option?

I got the Unitedly Mileage Business card and I’m still waiting for it to show up. It’s not allowing me to use it in any digital wallets yet.

Looking to book tickets for pesach, on DDMS it says that for the first 3 months the free suitcase applies even without using this specific card. Would that cover a the additional passenger as well? And does it include carryons too?

i signed up for this card recently when the offer was 75k. The new current offer is now 100k. I sent a secure message to get them to match but they declined. Will HUCA potentially work here? Or is it a waste of time on this card?

Can anyone explain this:
I canceled my United Business Card, and then when I traveled, my one-time lounge pass did not work (which makes sense).
But now, I got new passes by email.   :o

Anyone had success with any recent retention offers or waiving the fee?

was charged AF one week ago, called twice this week. first rep  a guy , indian accent, say no offer there , today, an american accent lady said no offer. I recently  started using it bit more so thought that would help but didn't.
That means either cancel or I would redeem 6600 UA miles to pay the annual fee.

A useful piece of information for this card is that if you also have one of the United consumer cards (even the no AF one), you recieve 5000 miles yearly as a gift, making this card cost you only 1,600 miles. Which is easily compensated by the benefits when flying United. And if you don't fly United, you can just sell the United Club Passes on DDF  ;D

I was looking to apply for the card and see that there was a Sign Up Bonus of 150k at one point with $20k of spending in 6 months.
Is this still available?  If so, can you please provide a legit link (not hacked)?
Thanks in advance.
