Namely?

Seattle comes to mind. They truly only have Island crust, pizza store on Mercer Island. The other restaurants are vegan and under the VAAD but not strictly a kosher establishment.

Island crust is the only kosher establishment that relies fully on Jews. The other restaraunts rely on a goyish crowd but have a hechsher, so the Jews are not the targeted customer. According to wiki, SEA has 63k Jews and Pit has 20k less

PIT probably has more frum Jews than SEA.
Either way, don't think any cities of that size have none.

We are looking to get away for thanksgiving weekend. We're driving from NY. was debating between PIT and Cleveland. Apparently Cleveland doesn't have hotels walking distance to a minyan. Does PIT have hotels walking distance to minyan? Anything special to do in PIT?

I'm not aware of any hotels in Squirrel Hill. Maybe in Oakland, but that would be a couple miles each way.

Depends how you are with driving. I really didn't like sitting in the car (on a fairly boring drive) for 6 hours. Flying the next time was MUCH better.

Depending on where you are departing from in NYC, it may be just as fast to drive, when you figure in drive time to/from the airport, waits at the airport, delays etc

Departing from Monsey which really makes it a close call in terms of time but personally i would rather fly from Monsey to Brooklyn then taking the F.D.R so its not always about winning or loosing time  ;)

I've driven and flown..drive was without a baby, and flying was with a baby. Once we had a baby, flying was the obvious choice for us. To drive for so many hours with a screaming baby is really no fun at all, and once you take so many breaks to care for the baby's needs, it could take a full day (or more). The flight is so short that even if the baby doesn't handle it well, it should be over before you know it (but from what I hear, this varies greatly by the baby).

I have done the flight and the drive more times than I could count. Indeed, I just did both in the past 24 hours.

With a group of only adults, Squirrel Hill to the Holland Tunnel is 5h 30m. With a baby or toddlers, its 12 hours. Don't kid yourself.

Flying involves finding a way to the airport board wait etc. renting a car in PIT or taxi around then find a ride again from the airport, My baby is bh (shhhh don't tell anyone) not a cry baby, i mean i know sitting in a car seat for a few hours is not fun

I'm not gonna try and persuade you to do something you dont wanna do, but just from my limited experience- yes finding a ride to airport could be a hassle, but renting in PIT is relativley seamless (I suggest renting the carseat from them rather than bringing your own) which also takes care of the airport on the way back. And let's just get one thing straight- driving 8 - 12 hrs with baby is A LOT worse than "no fun"

Monsey to Pittsburgh without any stops can be 5 hrs. door-to-door (esp at night).

Closest hotels would be in Shadyside (e.g. Courtyard, Hyatt House) or in Oakland (near the University).  Each about a 10 minute drive to kosher food and minyanim.
