Come on. Nobody's gonna drive 2 hours for CLE food.
Spoken like someone who has never had an Unger's cinnamon or custard donut, a Kantina Chicken Fried Steak Sandwich, a dog at an Indians game, or a Bagel Shoppe Jalapeno Bagel with garlic crunch!

There's only one kosher store: Murray Ave Kosher.
Giant Eagle across the street from it has a mediocre kosher bakery.
Milky Way is the only restaurant.
Many more eateries in CLE, a 2 hour drive away.
I ain't driving 2 hrs extra. All I really need is meat and bread and a couple other stuff.

I had the unger donuts. They're nice. I wouldn't drive two hours. The other stuff I never tried.

There's no donut worth a 2 hour drive. But collectively along with CLE activities...
At any rate, when are you coming to farbreng in CLE?

I might drive two hours to get pastry at Kleinblatt's in Antwerp, although I am ashamed to admit it.

At any rate, when are you coming to farbreng in CLE?
Great question. We have to make it happen.

Yes, of course. I know that. I was not counting that. I'm only counting when I bought it at Ungar's.

I am planning on stopping at Pittsburgh to restock on kosher food mid-trip..would the Giant Eagle bakery items be fresh if I stop in later in the day? Or is it worth waiting until the next morning? ty!

you can check there and also Murray Avenue Kosher is open until 6pm, they have sliced bread and rolls across the street. California Gourmet chocolate chips are on sale for $2.99, as well.
Fresh bagels at Giant Eagle will taste best the next morning. They are good (soft and fresh) to stock up on and to freeze even for NY/NJ residents.

Nope. All they have is a pizza shop. Every other year a fleishigs place opens and closes.

But if you really want deli, then go to Murray Kosher which is the grocery store and buy some lunch meat and a loaf of bread and then you can go sit in your car and eat it.

It depends how you're spending your day. If you're driving to ORD or DTW, then yes, drive past PIT and have lunch in CLE.
