Ok here's one Crayola Factory. Forgot about that. 1:45ish from NY so that's a good first stop.
Was going to mention that.
On the closer to pit side, about 1.5 hours, you have somerset with 7 springs and hidden valley, with alpine sliding or the like.

There also should be some amish attractions somewhere along the way

Open to considering both. It seems like 78 leads to more attractions. Looks like 78 is 15 minutes faster and Turnpike is $20 cheaper in tolls.

If you take 78, go to roadside America. Cabela's in Hamburg is cool. Probably the biggest taxidermy display and aquarium of any Cabela's I've been to

Some toll website told me $3 but maybe that's NJ turnpike or parkway tolls on the way to 78. (And it said 80 is $23 in tolls)

Roadside America looks cool, but google says permanently closed. That Cabela's looks cool thanks for that tip!

We ended up only going to Hershey, not all the way to Pittsburgh. Wanted to share a good stop 1.5 hours outside of NJ barely out of the way - Lost River Caverns. A cool tour through a cave. Was a good way to stretch your legs for 45 minutes.

No Eruv this shabbos FWIU.

I am pretty sure they just confirmed that the Eruv is kosher for this week, though the website has not yet been updated.

Quote
The eruv is good for the meantime.
Thanks to the presence of Rabbi Admon, police chaplain, in our community, we were able to go right to the scenes of the bridge collapse.
All of our strings were in place. The bridge collapsed, literally, right next to our eruv pole at the Braddock Avenue end.
At the cemetery end, our string from the cemetery wall to the slope is still perfectly in place.
Under the bridge in Fern Hollow (again thanks to R Admon, the park ranger drove us down, before the tactical survey, which will be in a short while) the collapsed wreckage is at least ten tefachim high almost all the way. there is a gapat the Braddock end which has a slope (that we had anhow been using). And a few breaks (pirtzos) less than ten amos, which are probably filled in with some of the wreckage. At the cemetery end we have our original slope. The bridge even goes down on top of the creek itself, which is admittedly very narrow to begin with.
I have to say that I became very emotional. Hashem openly showed us how much He loves our Shabbos observance!!!
What else is there to say? Speechless!!!

As this progresses, there will be a need for a way around this. They will be demolishing the bridge, but not before this Shabbos is over!

Good Shabbos,
S Silver

The same guy has had an Israeli food truck with shawarma for the last year or two.
I think he loved the Israeli food into the cafeteria and put this in the food truck
