upgrading economy to hong kong

if I purchase basic cathay or united economy ticket ewr-hkg (depart march2 return march 11) what is most frugal way to upgrade.
I have 100k amex points,55k chase sapphire points and 26k united points and have gold status -star alliance through aegean

any ideas?
