If booking one way with AA miles NYC-TLV on ELAL 45k miles is there any other leg you can add to be included in this trip?
You would have to book xyz-NYC-TLV.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

finally found someone that can book tlv-hkg-sin  bkk-hkg-tlv( she said she used an old system, must of been Sabre). unfortunately i didnt book bc they want over $1100 for an infant. arrrgggg
Sounds right.
At that cost, its worth using miles.

Had 13 agents say there's an issue and would report it but no betting on this becoming any easier any time soon.

I had no problem booking hkg-tlv but I spent 1.5 hours on the phone with a supervisor trying to get the bkk-tlv which would have been much more convenient. she put me on hold half a dozen times and told me she spoke to every department and they are aware of the situation but can do nothing about it as of now and I will have to call back to try to switch it to the bkk-tlv trip.

It seems to only be some days and some routes that dont work, and more often the hkg and bkk routes, because all the european flights were wide open as expected from expertflyer.

What's adding to your infant costs?

You can always ask them to price is out sep to see where the bulk of the cost is coming from.

they told me tlv-hkg-sin was about $400 and bkk-hkg-tlv $700. side point, when they use the sabre to book, every question takes about 15 min till they can check it up, very annoying

My DPS - HKG - TLV in biz priced out at $580 for the baby.

they can either publish a fare jointly or it will rever to Full fare which IATA can piece together any airline in the world. That's why when u buy a full fare CAI-DXB txt it can be changed to TLV-JFK.

You would have to book xyz-NYC-TLV.

That is what I thought, so if you need to depart from NYC not much you can add.

You can add on a leg to NYC for a time prior to this flight.

For example, MIA - NYC in April, and NYC - TLV in August.

Correct.
Living in NYC is great for AA.
Only program I know that allows a free stop over on a one way.
