Indeed that is what I did but he still could not identify the problem with the date that I actually wanted.

I originally did not want to post the email address of the CEO on the forums because I'm afraid people will abuse the privilege of going straight to the top. But I think its important that we let his office know. So please do not abuse this email address with any other complaints/ comments you may have other than the issue we have all been dealing with in terms of el al availability. Thats my little sermon. The email address for the CEO is Tom.Horton@aa.com.

Was this ever fixed? My mother was trying to order a ticket and had some issues, and I didn't know if it was related to a general issue or just that she was checking only about three months in advance.

Its up and running the last few months.

She was probably trying the NY-TLV routes which are very hard to find.

I did, and there was still tons left (she was looking in business). When she called AA, though, they said none was showing. Is it possible that's because of the error mentioned here, or they show different availability?
I already made reservations for her on the Wideroe error, but wanted to know for the future.

I can't now. I was interested in making the reservation a couple months ago, and now there's no El Al availability either. I'll come back to thread when we try again and we'll see

I am looking for a flight from TLV to HKG now there is no availability for award seats, are they usually opening more seats closer to the flight?

LY doesn't open anything closer, even if the flight will stay empty. unless someone will cancel, you stand no chance.

I had needed a 5th ticket from HKG to TLV, put in an alert in EF, and a few months later, it opened up.
And I think another one opened up afterwards as well.
