Anyone one ever read Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch album. I don't read much and a friend recommended it. It completely blew my mind. Must read.
yeah, was ok. If you liked this book you'll probably like his other book "the five people you meet in heaven". I thought it was much better.

I just ordered a childhood favorite of mine from Amazon "Sideways Arithmetic From Wayside School" by Louis Sachar.

Any other fans out there?

Another exellent read is "The Heavenly Time Machine" by Morris Engelson. Ridiculously good. Blow your socks off.

+2. and if you like Louis Sachar (rhymes with cracker), check out his book Holes (Fiction).

For the sports-pop-culture-humor enthusiasts, Bill Simmons' "The Book of Basketball: The NBA According to the Sports Guy" is a must.

Not sure. Its possible.
I used to get caught up in authors and make them bigger than their work but not anymore. Just because someone writes a good book does not mean I have to go out and read everything they've every written. I go book by book now. I'll even put down a series if the author mails it in and releases junk as a sequel.

What i"m trying to say is that I don't know the guy from Adam but I loved his book.

Was anyone else completely disappointed with the Bourne series after Robert Ludlum died?

Used to when I had time. Loved anything written by Twain especially A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthurs Court.
I liked Steinbeck too but his books all seemed to schlep out and always left me feeling depressed.
Not sure if he's considered classic , but I loved J D Salinger's books.

Maybe in 100 years, when the English it's written in will be "Olde English" :D .
