I really enjoyed Steig Larsson's "The girl with the dragon tattoo" series. anyone read them?

Used to when I had time. Loved anything written by Twain especially A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthurs Court.
I liked Steinbeck too but his books all seemed to schlep out and always left me feeling depressed.
Not sure if he's considered classic , but I loved J D Salinger's books.
