I just read through twenty pages and can't believe No one mentioned the count of Monte Cristo!
I'm also a big fan of dickens
Tale if two cities, Oliver twist, David Copperfield.... Anyone else out there?
On my list but don't see it happening any time soon.
If you don't care why would you comment?

This might just be me, but I never saw a movie that I enjoyed more than the book it was made on.

On that note, is Game of Thrones worth reading or is the TV show better?

50 pages into an interview with Watterson in Exploring Calvin and Hobbes. Fascinating read.

Just saw your question now because the thread just got bumped. The answer is a definitive yes, you should read the books. In my opinion it is almost impossible to follow all the characters without reading the books and understanding who is who and what is what. Just a note that as of the last season the HBO writers have basically taken a shortcut and changed parts of the story.

With a few slight spoilers to the books, the show ended exactly where ADOD left off.

The daily diary of R Chaim Stein from the war years.

A fascinating "inside look"

As long as I Live has got to be one of greatest inspirational books ever. this mans life causes us to appreciate the health we all (hopefully!) have and if , chalila lo aleinu, one doesn't, one can learn how extraordinarily steadfast this man clings to Hashem and how we must also. (the book writes that Rav Chaim Kaniefsy read the book and said its a ''must read'')
nothings impossible- the word itself says Im possible

For anyone who hasn't read it - and is interested in the history of the relationship between Arab Muslims and Jews - From Time Immemorial by Joan Peters is a must read.
