Couldn't make up my mind between the Maldives and Bora Bora, so I went for Kosovo.

In ddf terms: a good choice. All was very cheap there (besides gas).

i gotta agree with you. bora bora, and certainly maldives are overrated

btw, did you get a landmine map to know which streets to avoid, or did you just russian roulette it (FUN!)?

I was there too

Even managed to get pulled over by police, brought to the police station and almost got detained together with my friends until someone noticed our tzitzis and asked what it was, when we told him we were Jewish they got so excited and litterally the entire police station came out with the chief shaking our hand and wondering about us etc saying that it was a great privilege to meet Jewish people... they ended up escorting us back to the main road and showed us our way back

I was in Kosovo. And the people were Muslims. And they love Jews. At least the ones I met.

Actually both in Kosovo and Albania some people were suspicious of us for being nothing less then ISIS! Apparently our birds and yarmmulka’s (one of us had a breslev kind) gave that impression. I was suspected of many things in my live, but that was the weirdest and funniest thing!

We also saw some religious Muslim who thought we were his “brother”...

Apparently a few weeks prior there had been some ISIS people caught in Kosovo and it was in the news
