nuch a mazel you at least had what to eat and sleep. No one can imagine how it like to be stuck over Shabbes unless you experience it yourself.
If you read..I had what to eat and sleep...but I didnt eat or sleep...

I remember hearing about the flight that got delayed or wtvr and everyone had to stay in the airport for Shabbos a few months ago.  When I heard that story I wished my experience was like that.

WOW! That is a crazy story! Thanks for taking the time.
+1. Wow!
All I can say is, luckily you at least landed A) somewhere normal, B) NYC, C) and most of all, where you have family and that they were able to send you food etc etc. (the only other similar lucky place would I guess be TLV).

Question, you write " They said ok lets go home now.  I’m like were staying here for Shabbos…they were not happy.  They said there must be a way out of it."
Who are these "they"?  Not clear..

Sorry.  They were the male and female who worked in the car service company who came to bring us the bag.  Dont know why they both had to come.  They were really giving my wife and I a hard time about staying.  They wanted to call my parents up and ask them if we can come home.  I told them you can call but they wont pick up the phone. They really thought we were nuts that were staying.

Giving you a hard time?  What are they your guardians?  Airport workers?
Interesting.
