A Lubavitcher wedding. Out doors. All the parents and grandparents go around the chosson with the kallah.
Coldest day of the year, maybe coldest in several years. 4 of the 5 k"h elderly grandparents each had a family member helping them walk. Slowly around and around.
(They should invent a turntable for chupah like this for them to stand on and be moved around the chosson.) Then they even had a few minute tape of the Rebbe giving a brocho. It took quite a while to feel my toes again.

At my sheva brochos there was a speaker who was saying a sholom bayis story about when he got married his wife bought blue towels for the bathroom and blue tissues and blue linnen ect. We were al cringing in our seats as he went on and on that he didn't understand why his wife got colored and white wasn't good enough. Then his wife explained that she knew his grandfather recently passed away and he was close to him so she was modeling the bathroom after him.

I'm sefardi and we hold you don't need yichud room but we do it as a chumra. There are no eidim outside the door so someone walked in on us (of course he was holding a Sefer and had a huge grin on). I asked him if he wanted to join us, He said he's sorry but then he wouldn't leave and went on and on with his brochos ect.

Been at a wedding like that in Montreal, half the people who came in from OOT (mostly NY and Pittsburgh) stayed inside for the three minute chuppah. I don't think they stopped to breath between sentences and the kibbudim of sheva brochos were all lined up and the mic was passed from one to the next.

On a different note, Lubavitcher chuppahs aren't long at all compared to some other communities.

Not so skinny (way not, I just don't want to use the word fat) boy from wealthy home and still did great shidduch. But he was a great boy and very pleasant too. Please don't bash me for making such jokes. It is a true story. When the kallah approached the chuppa and starting going around the Chassan whispered to the Kallah, "Please don't forget to say Tefilos Haderech".
