Enroll in Amex Pay Over Time, earn 5K MR - Targeted Offer

I just received an offer in the mail to enroll in Amex's Pay Over Time program, which has no fee, and includes a bonus of 5K MR for enrolling. The fine print does say that the offer is only available to cardmembers who received a direct communication from Amex. Anyone else get this offer? See any reason not to do it?

This offer showed up on my account while logged in to amex. I signed up for my plat and PRG and got 5k x2.
On my wife's PRG card the offer was for 10k.

i got offer in mail for pay ovr time for my spg but there was no bonus.

Got the 10k offer for my PRG while on the phone with Amex for an unrelated matter. Said it was because I had an 'impeccable payment history.'
