On an Elal business flight to aisa, am I better off getting first class seats and 1.5 yr son on lap, hope for empty seat, or three business class seats

3x 30K AA = 90K AA

2 x 2500 Matmid = 5000 Matmid = 200K Amex or 160K Has.

Not following.... I understand either 2 x45 =90first aa or 3x30 business. What am I missing here?

I dont think you can book first Elal with AA

That can be pretty bad with an active 1.5 yr old baby, though I guess if he is active, seat is a total waste. Also have to factor 10% lap infant fee is prob around 400 dollars...

I'd say book a regular seat. And at the time of the departure if the flight is empty cancel for $150 and re-book as an infant. you save quite a bit...

for example if i book from tlv to bkk with rj, is there a fee to switch to ly? what about sin-tlv with cxto hkg and ly to tlv, if i change dates there is there a fee?

If you change from RJ to LY, there is a fee, even though their website doesn't say anything about it.

i thought as long as you keep the origin and destination the same theres no charge?
