Ben Gurion airport has a new fast lane for business and first class travelers to go past security.
as of when?
They had it last night
what i noticed last week that was helpful is in the departure hall by passport control if your passport has a chip you can EXIT the country by swiping it at the self service kiosk and bypass the line...saved me timeessentially they have opened up the biometric kiosks to non israelis with new age passports.
also at arrival
I know it’s been a while (7.5 years) since the last post on this thread, but does anyone know where/if one can get a kosher breakfast in Ben Gurion?
Aroma in departures.
what happens if you change your mind after passport control & you don't want to take the flight, or if you missed the flight, how do you exit? will it be a big hassle?
You have to go over to information, who contacts managers and security to escort you back into country. They're not always thrilled. It can be big hassle. It's not like there's just an open exit door that brings you back to passport control on the entry side.
will they ask any questions?
