I have a real twitter account but get alerts via text, & lately I don't get most of the texts (not only from @dansdeals, but also from other accounts that I get text from).
If it makes a differance I have BB 9930 on sprint.

tried unfollowing and following several times didnt work. also tried making new account still have the same issues

i have a s4 mini also with sprint i wonder if it might be a sprint issue as opposed to a twitter one

Thought its a sprint issue, as i asked a few friends that had the same problem, & & they were on sprint, but later a few people with verizon told Mr that they have the same problem, so it's probably a twitter issue.
(I tried sending the messages to a google voice number, & it should get forwarded to my cell phone, but it didnt help, so u see that also GV has this prob, not only sprint)

If you don't have service on your cell for x amount of time twitter logs you out and this applies to you

i tried linking my cell to my twitter account but looks like the previous owner of this number has already linked it to an account since its not letting me link it. what do i do?

Text stop to 40404 then try linking it online again.
