Is it worth it? Will United match the status?
Asking cause I have an AA flight and United flight in Feb, would have to pay for bags for both flights - so this will give them to me free. (worth 50$)
I also travel more than 2 times a year, but not enough to get the status on my own, to Israel - so the extra perk of upgrades would be worth it.
Also, I have an Amex Platinum, so will I get reimbursed for 200$ of the charge if I selected AA?
