Not sure if it was pointed out but "Get 25,000 additional points each year if you shift $50,000 in expenses onto the Card."
Basically, you'll get 125k points with first $50k spend.

Just an fyi: I signed up for the 60k promotion a couple weeks ago and called today for a random question about the online amex site. After i put my cc# in, the agent who I was transfered to told me he was from accounting and he had to ask me some questions about my "business" before he could transfer me to the online department. He asked me what the business was and how much I made...The guy told me they would have called me if I hadn't called, but I'm not so sure about that. It turned out okay but just a heads up to everyone who signed up for the card with their "business."

I have starwood business card and i called with a billing Q, the csr mentioned that i was pre-approved for this offer (50k after 10k spend in 4 mo) NO hard credit pull

So give the csr the card commission for the same signup offer instead of helping support this site?

 I wouldnt think that csr would get a dime in commission as thats a part of their job, no different then when booking a flight and they try to sell you the car and hotel as well

 Now if a person can prevent having a Pull done , I would understand why they would go the route of the csr and less chance for those playing games to be turned down. But for those who can sustain a Pull and are legit with everything then Id say Support DD

A pull is always done for a credit card.  I've never gotten one without a pull and I get so called "pre-approved" offers all the time.  "Pre-approved" is just marketing shpiel to get you to apply for a new card.

And just by the way, I know for a fact that the CSR makes a few bucks each time you agree to get transferred to a hotel or car company.  Not sure why you think that's not commission based.
