Facts
The flu vaccine causes more deaths per year than chicken pox.
The direct injection of RSV immunoglobulin, commonly known as the "RSV vaccine" would prevent 16x more deaths than the flu vaccine does, but is too expensive.
There is a vaccine for the plague, and that is why it is no longer an epidemic.
Ebola is caused by vaccines.
There is a vaccine for autism, but it causes mumps.

Opinions
Vaccines do not contain thimerosal, a known toxin.
If you snuck up on your neighbor's kid and cut open his skull, you would be arrested.  But when brain surgeons do it, and charge hundreds of thousands of dollars, it considered "medicine."
99% of vaccines do not cause autism (HT JJ1000).
Every pedi has seen healthy kids become sick physically & mentally hours after a vax (HT Baryochai)
Vaccines cause cancer, infertility, astma, adhd etc (HT Baryochai)

So who's going to the pro-plague anti-vax symposium on Monsey?

Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

It would be very serious indeed if someone brought a baby who then caught measles.

Why are they reaching out to folks on the above locals rather than Passaic, five towns, etc.? Perhaps because the latter have the education and access to information that makes them less likely to swallow the hogwash being peddled by the organizers?

Vaccination rates in Monsey/Williamsburg are actually higher than most other areas in NYS.

Oh brother. As someone who has my own real concerns with vaccines I can also tell you that many of the speakers listed here are so to the extreme you can't unfortunately take much they say at face value.    They sure chose "the best of the best" to speak didn't they?
Sigh

Who would you rather have speaking?

People who aren't blind to the fact that vaccines save lives.

So what viewpoint would these theoretical people present?

There are two options if you want to generalize...

-Either they would hold that even with the concerns there are potentially, vaccines do save lives -   but still not choose to vaccinate
or they would hold that vaccines do save lives and even with the concerns there are potentially- choose to vaccinate

And explain their personal reasoning for both.

Whether I agree with them or not anyone who can't see anything truthful on the other side (no matter what side they are on) is not someone helpful to be gathering any information from.

Or .. they would just be with the general viewpoint of "there are concerns in vaccines and what we can do to help demand the best of what we're getting"  -   but that's not what this whole event is about anyways.

Is there anyone specific you know of that addresses these concerns that isn't blanket anti-vax?

I'm not a maven so I can't tell you any names off hand. They are definitely harder to find, yes. It's mostly the loud crazy ones you hear ranting on both sides.
Meanwhile, whoever is putting on this event is clearly just trying to defend their anti vaxx views or wanting to convince others to follow along and the end.

They can’t even spell “professionals”. Pathetic.

Since when is “nationwide” capitalized? They should at least try to sound “proffesional”. :)

The idea that non-vaccination is exclusively (or even primarily) amongst the uneducated is just plain wrong.
