Can someone share their churning experience recently with SPG Amex and Amex gold? Do the rules change with business?

I recently signed up for my 2nd Business SPG shortly after closing my first. I didn't get points and called up tens of agents who all said that bec. I got 10k already I can't get it again. I finally got them to give me 3k just to make me feel better, then I called SPG and told them about how I opened a card with Amex and they're not giving me points, so they threw me 500 points.  Looks like it's getting harder....
