ELAL Points Or AA?

I got the price mistake tickets on ElAl and I changed the ticket for $75 to go direct each way. Anyone have any idea if I would be able to earn American Airline points with this ticket. I am a member with Matmid but would rather receive AA miles. Thanks!

u can recieve AA, although a client of mine did the same- but only get 2.7k per segmant

 I haven't seen anyone post how many matmid points you earn.

I need another 11k aa miles to hit aa executive platinum and I have a rt ticket on hold (thanks whyaich) on ly in g my question is if it would be considered as base miles for aa
