Dell Computer beeps and won't boot up

Check the lights in the front under the usb.
Usually beeping in a dell system is a ram issue, try to remove and reseat the ram

also check if one of the keys on the keyboard is/are pressed"

There are codes to the beeps, depending on how many etc..

That's the BIOS battery not battery back up

it looks like the RAM was bad, i changed them and it works again
